About This Project

Milan Hair Salon is a Hair Salon and Spa with locations in Whitestone and Forest Hills, New York (Queens). The salon was brand new and the owner Rafael was savvy to getting immediate exposure on the internet. Rafael desired additional, organic leads and immediately wanted to target Google organic search results as his vehicle of choice

What We Did And How

We did a full business services map, detailing all of the offerings at Rafael's first salon in Whitestone. We designed a very custom website to his specifications using his desired color scheme and graphics along the way. The entire price listing was placed online for complete transparency, and we built a photo gallery of happy customer hair styles to showcase. The primary focus however was to optimize the website for organic search rankings on Google. We very worked closely with Rafael to gather target keywords and key-phrases that he could quickly win over in local searches. Within two months Milan Hair Salon was ranking on the first page of Google search results for multiple target keywords and key phrases. We continually monitored and tweaked the campaigns to optimize and ensure that the website remained atop search results. We created social media presences and integrated them into the website, and registered the salon on all major local business directories. In a matter of weeks leads were calling the salon, saying they found him through Google.

Shortly thereafter, Rafael opened a second location in Forest Hills, Queens, and we designed a separate targeted website for that salon as well. Again, focusing strictly on organic search engine optimization. Within the first month, the second website, was listed on page one or two of targeted keywords and key phrases. We built on top of the authority that was already created by his initial website, to create immediate authority for his second website. Still both websites rank on page one or page two of Google SERPs (search engine results pages) for desired key phrases, and is bringing in new leads on a regular basis.
