About This Project

2xzone.com is one of the premier professional wrestling news websites. It was originally launched in 1998 and since then has gone through many design iterations, all of which we built from scratch. This source is complete with the latest news, multiple blogs, information archives, video and photo galleries, and a podcast. We designed the latest iteration using a PHP Content Management System which gives the owner full capability to mange all site content and user accounts via an online control panel that works in both a web browser and portable views.

Every aspect of the site was fully customized to reflect the brand, including fonts, color scheme, layout, categories, and more. We designed a mobile friendly version of the primary page and and article pages and integrated into the existing CMS system, rather than replacing it entirely.

The site produced a monthly podcast, featuring interviews with actual wrestling and mixed martial arts personalities. We provided audio and video editing services for each podcast posted them within customized content on the site as well as posting to broad channels such as Youtube, Dailymotion, iTunes. We engaged in link-building campaigns with the original content by generating preformatted email communications to related niche sites who placed links to the unique content on their websites.
